Nancy van Gogh
Owner, CEO, Agent
Nancy van Gogh is the founder of van Gogh Talent. Nancy’s career began as a music agent at Siegel Entertainment in 1979.
In 1986, she decided to venture into the film industry, and opened van Gogh Talent. Nancy, along with her close friend and colleague, Anna DeSantis, operated van Gogh Talent for three decades until Anna retired in 2020.
Nancy is a seasoned veteran of the Vancouver Media and Entertainment industry. She has been steadfastly representing actors and growing careers for over 37 years.
Nancy’s perdurable career, and long-standing industry relationships can be attributed to her strong work ethic and professionalism. Nancy is guided by integrity, compassion, and primarily – her eye for talent.
Alex Scott
COO, Agent
Alex Scott has been part of the van Gogh Talent team since 2017.
Originally from Saskatchewan, she moved to North Vancouver in 2014 to attend the Jazz Studies program at Capilano University. Upon graduating, she was hired as a part-time administrative assistant at vGT. From 2017 to 2021 Alex learned to run the daily operations of the business; gained experience in the industry; and took on more responsibilities within the agency.
Alex’s communication and organizational skills are a cornerstone of her role, both internally and externally with clients and talent; upholding the agency’s reputation for professionalism and reliability.
In 2021, Alex made the transition from assistant to agent. Through decades of experience as a performer and music teacher, and years of experience in the film industry, Alex has developed a keen eye for talent and a passion for nurturing and championing performers.
She is currently scouting actors and selectively expanding the van Gogh Talent roster.
